If you mean in the reflection, he's actually grinning. You have to look closely though, I tried to fade the Ice King in the background to make it look more like a reflection.

Me too, to me that verse, "I can feel myself slipping away, I can't remember what it made me say." was the saddest.

I imagined the Ice King wandering around for a while after he separated from Marceline, until he ended up at the Ice mountains where the Gunthers found him.
